Prayers Answered

Arafah is considered the peak of Hajj, where pilgrims gather on the plains of Arafah to earnestly supplicate to Allah (SWT).

Perfection of Islam

This blessed day is believed to be when Allah (SWT) declared Islam complete and showered His favor upon us, as mentioned in the Quran:

A Day of Profound Significance:

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:

“This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My Favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion.”

(Quran (5:3))

Making the Most of Arafah:

Fasting

Observing a voluntary fast on the Day of Arafah is a beautiful Sunnah (practice of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ) with immense rewards.

“It is reported that the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) was asked about fasting on the day of Arafah, after which he said:

“It expiates the sins of the preceding year and the coming year.”
