Amoud Foundation Announces New Executive Director
(Irving, TX) – The Amoud Foundation Board of Directors and staff welcomed their new Executive Director, Issam Abdallah to the organization.
Mr. Abdallah will lead Amoud Foundation’s efforts to implement life-saving programs in the Horn of Africa and expand services for those impacted by drought and famine in the region. Mr. Abdallah has more than 20-years’ experience working with international relief organizations around the world and management experience in the private sector. Mr. Abdallah’s endearing qualities of compassion, sincerity, dedication, and enthusiasm towards humanitarian efforts will enrich Amoud Foundation.

Amoud Foundation has been working in the Horn of Africa since 1998, providing shelter, education, food, medical supplies, water and much more to the millions in the region who have been impacted by severe droughts. In 2018, Amoud Foundation provided 4.3 million meals to individuals and families impacted by the severe drought and famine in the region.
