Feed the Fasting

Be the hand that gives this Ramadan as we strive to serve 5 million meals across the Horn of Africa and other African regions.
Last year, we set an ambitious goal to deliver 5 million meals during the holy month. Thanks to the incredible generosity of donors like you, we didn’t just meet that target, we exceeded it.
This Ramadan, the need remains urgent. We are once again counting on your compassion to help us surpass the 5-million-meal mark. وَيُطْعِمُونَ الطَّعَامَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِ مِسْكِينًا وَيَتِيمًا وَأَسِيرًا
“And they give food, in spite of their love for it (or for the love of Him), to the Miskin (the poor), the orphan, and the captive.”
– Surah Al-Insan (76:08)

The Horn of Africa continues to face an unprecedented crisis, with droughts and floods wreaking havoc on the region. In recent years, five consecutive seasons of sparse rainfall have devastated crops and livestock, pushing food prices to record highs across the Horn of Africa.
Today, an estimated 42 million people across the Horn of Africa face acute food insecurity, with millions of children at risk of malnutrition.
Damaged infrastructure compounds their challenges. Recent heavy rains and flooding have destroyed homes, schools, hospitals, and roads, making recovery efforts nearly impossible. Families are left displaced and vulnerable, with essential services disrupted and entire communities struggling to rebuild.
Your support can change lives in Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, Djibouti, Sudan, Uganda, Tanzania, and Togo. Together, we can provide life-saving supplies and help restore stability and hope to those affected by these harsh conditions.
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
“One is not a believer who fills his stomach while his neighbor goes hungry.”

As families flee drought and flood-affected villages in search of food and water, the elderly, vulnerable individuals, and young children face the harsh reality of hunger and thirst. In Somalia alone, 6.9 million people, including 4.3 million children, urgently need humanitarian assistance as drought, floods, and displacement continue to uproot families.
