Sponsor an Orphan Program
Regional strife, natural disasters, and disease are among the many factors which leave so many children in the Horn of Africa orphaned and destitute. These factors cause the life of an orphan to be very daunting. Many of them without both parents living a life of neglect. Imagine the loss of the tender care of a mother or the strong support and protection of a father. Millions of children are living without food, shelter, and in devastating conditions. These precious children face so many challenges each day.
Amoud Foundation strives to ease their hardship and suffering by providing shelter, food, education, clothes, access to medical services, as well as support and care to these special children.
They ask you, [O Muḥammad], what they should spend. Say, “Whatever you spend of good is [to be] for parents and relatives and orphans and the needy and the traveler. And whatever you do of good – indeed, Allah is Knowing of it.”
(Quran 2:215)
For only $1 a day, $30 monthly, or $360 yearly, a donor can provide the fundamental necessities that all young children deserve. Through our Sponsor an Orphan program, an orphan will receive:

Health Care
With a yearly donation or after 12 monthly donations and upon request, a donor may receive a profile of an orphan which will include the orphan’s photo, child’s details, education report, and health progress. If you would like to receive an orphan profile, please contact us at

The Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) said,
“I will be like this in Paradise with the person who takes care of an orphan,” raising (by way of illustration) his forefinger and middle finger jointly, leaving no space in between.)
Support an Orphanage Program
Amoud Foundation has and continues to establish Amoud Foundation-run orphanages. A donor can help in the building and maintenance of these orphanages which support many orphans at one time and are cost-effective. They are sustainable projects which ensure continuing and comprehensive care of each of the orphans.
